Real Madrid have lost fullback Daniel Carvajal for a month.

AS says Carvajal faces a month on the sidelines while he recovers from the injury he picked up in Sunday's game at Eibar.

Real Madrid issued a medical update on the full-back this afternoon, confirming that the defender has injured his left thigh, adding “His condition will be evaluated".

Carvajal's injury is the 16th muscular injury suffered by a Madrid player in four and a half months. Now, Benítez only has four defenders available for tomorrow's Copa del Rey meeting with Cádiz - Danilo, Pepe, Nacho and Arbeloa
