Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane insists their six point leadership "means nothing".
Zidane spoke of his team's situation at an adidas event yesterday.
"The six-point advantage means nothing, it doesn't mean we're going to win the league. We're in first place and happy with the results we're getting, but there's a long way to go in La Liga and there's still a lot to do," he said.
On the Club World Cup, he added: “We've got a game on Saturday first, and then we're going to spend a week in Japan.
"We're going there to try and win it as we always do, for everyone supporting this great club. We've won a lot in Japan and the Japanese people are fantastic madridista fans. It's a country where we'd love to claim another important title and the Club World Cup is a trophy we can win."
