Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was satisfied with victory at Las Palmas.
Real were never overly tested on Saturday and they can now turn their focus to Turin, while the French coach was pleased with the team's display.
"It's never easy to play a match at this level," he stated.
"Las Palmas needed the points, if they were able to score it would have been much harder for us.
"We have done well today, as after the 15-day break we only had two days to prepare for this game."
Whilst the result was positive, the defending Spanish champions were left rueing the fact Nacho Fernandez picked up an injury that could keep him out of Tuesday's match, although that's a scenario the former Bordeaux star isn't yet contemplating.
"Nacho's injury isn't good, he's very uncomfortable," he confirmed.
"I hope it's not serious and that he'll be with us tomorrow.
"He left the pitch as a precautionary measure."
