Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is adamant Cristiano Ronaldo is fully motivated.

Zidane believes his form slump will only make the No.7 even more determined to prove he is still an elite player.

"Maybe because of that [lack of goals], he is more motivated than ever before and keen to show what he can do," the Real Madrid coach said during Friday's press conference.

"He has always proven himself and turned up in the big matches."
