Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane admits they weren't at their best for victory at Copa del Rey opponents Leganes.

Marco Asensio struck the only goal of the first-leg win for Real.

Zidane remarked: "We played a serious game and the result is very good for us, it's true that it was hard for us to find our usual game, but in the second half we were better and we scored.

"We cannot say that we played a great game but we achieved an important result in a tie."

The Frenchman continued: "Asensio can do better, like everyone, but he scored the winning goal."
