Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has pulled Keylor Navas aside to assure him he's his goalkeeper.

Despite fresh talk of Real moving for Manchester United No1 David de Gea, Zidane has spoken to Keylor to make it clear no-one will be pushing him out the door.

Even if another keeper arrives this summer, the coach has told Keylor he will be given the chance to fight for his place.

Don Balon says Zidane also made this clear to president Florentino Perez during new contract negotiations. As they settled terms, the Frenchman was adamant Keylor was required for next season.

The Costa Rica international appreciates Zizou's support and even a bigger contract offer from PSG is unlikely to tempt him away this summer.
