Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is happy Gareth Bale is amongst the goals after their 2-2 draw with Villarreal.

The Welshman has timed his form just right with the Champions League final only a week away.

"Bale has never lowered his level and is now scoring a lot," Zidane said to reporters after the game.

"For what he does, nothing has changed in him, but if there is a difference it's the goals he is getting lately."

Persistently asked who he would pick for the final, Zidane refused to answer definitively.

"We are ready and we have no injuries, that was the important thing," he continued.

"We are ready to play our final and that's it.

"I'm not going to talk about the team."
