Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane insists signing a new striker next month is not on the agenda.

Zidane was asked about buying a new forward after their Club World Cup triumph over Al Jazira.

"I'm not going to ask for it, at all," said the Real coach. "Karim (Benzema) is fine. He has not scored. You can always give your opinion.

"It seems that Karim has to always score, he has played a good game, he has moved well, he and Cristiano (Ronaldo).

"I'm a little disappointed for him because he wanted to score. I am happy with everyone's game."
