Real Madrid assistant coach Zinedine Zidane insists Gareth Bale is worth his €100 million price-tag.
Real have so far refused to confirm the price they paid for the Tottenham star.
But Zidane did say: "I know all about this, when I joined ten years ago it was for a significant amount. Everyone wondered then if I was worth it or not. But if you have the opportunity to begin the greatest adventure of your sporting life, you should take advantage of that possibility.
"We were consulted, the coach always has to give his opinion. After that, it is Florentino (Perez, president) who assesses the economic aspects."
