Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has been left unimpressed after a face-to-face chat with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Before breaking up for international week, Zidane held talks with Ronaldo about his form and body language after a poor start to the season. Indeed, in terms of goalscoring, Ronaldo is enduring his worst run of form since joining Real.

Zidane, reports Diario Gol, knows Ronaldo is frustrated with his role and the system employed this season, but urged him to adapt. However, the response stunned the coach, with Ronaldo blaming personnel for his form woes, insisting the lack of a centre-forward to play off, like Karim Benzema, is to blame.

Zidane was left unimpressed, but chose not to confront Ronaldo during the meeting. However, the coach remains upset with Ronaldo's unwillingness to adjust.
