Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has ruled out the sale of midfielder Julio Baptista this summer.

AS says Schuster held talks with Real sports chief Pedja Mijatovic about their summer transfer plans and made it clear he wanted the Brazilian to remain next season.

Mijatovic, meanwhile, has also assured Mahamadou Diarra is a required player for the new campaign.
