Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster is delighted with the way new signing Rafael van der Vaart has quickly settled.

"He has integrated very well into the team, because he is a great player," said Schuster, who was also asked about Real's failure to find a deal for Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo.

"I've been watching this issue from the outside. It doesn't bother me because I have only been focusing on my current team."
