Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster is delighted to have £20 million defender Pepe available for tonight's Champions League clash at Olympiacos.

Pepe will start the game on the bench and Schuster said: "For him it is a great joy and for me also. He is a player who will contribute important things for us. He is a great professional.

"He has recovered and he wanted to be with us. We rushed him before and we paid expensively for it. Depending on the game, he will have minutes.

"He is very fast and it's important to have him back."
