DiarioSport says Schuster doesn't see Fernando Gago as a short-term prospect in his midfield and wants someone who can get forward and score goals.
Despite his problems this season at Juve, Tiago is rated highly by Schuster for his success at Olympique Lyon.
The German still sees Gago as a long-term Real player, but believes he would be benefit more from a loan move away next season to gain more experience.
