Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has admitted the injury to Ruud van Nistelrooy has left them short of firepower.

"For a long time we enjoyed the combination of Raul and Ruud scoring goals, and now we have the problem of an injury to Ruud," said Schuster. "We have little time to give Javier Saviola, Roberto Soldado or Gonzalo Higuain the consecutive games needed to find their confidence in front of goal.

"Although I believe that sometimes in 15 minutes you can also find your touch and the goals you need. We're searching for the best solution and will see if it comes against Sevilla."
