Real Madrid coach Juande Ramos insists he did not drop Guti from last night's 3-0 victory over Almeria.

It was suggested Ramos had axed Guti before the game because he was tired of the midfielder's attitude.

But after the victory, Ramos said: "I selected the team based on continuity given the way the players have been performing.

"They all have strengths and weaknesses, but I think a player like Guti can be very profitable and we will try to get the most out of him."
