Real Madrid management have concerns over the poor preseason form of £80 million man Cristiano Ronaldo. Sport says the lack of spark from Ronaldo is worrying Real, including coach Manuel Pellegrino, who is struggling to find an ideal position for the Portuguese star in his system.
It's also claimed Ronaldo is unhappy with his situation and downhearted about his poor form. Unlike fellow new arrival Kaka, Ronaldo is yet to enjoy a big preseason performance for Real and the Madrid press are still waiting for the excuse to heap praise on their new hero.
It's also suggested Pellegrini could be faced with the decision whether to sacrifice captain Raul for Ronaldo, with striker now emerging as his most natural position in the Chilean's formation.
