Real Madrid coach Manuel Pellegrini read his players the riot act at training yesterday morning.

Pellegrini brought his squad together and steamed into his players for their lacklustre performance in the victory over Sporting Gijon on Sunday.

Usually, Pellegrini addresses his squad for about a minute before they break up for training, but the Chilean this time spoke to his players for eight minutes. Pellegrini was angry with their performance, particularly in the first-half.
