Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho says they "deserve" to be in the Champions League final.

Real must overcome Bayern Munich's 2-1 lead in tonight's semifinal second-leg clash at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"We want and deserve to reach the final. We are close to reaching the most important final in football at club level. My men are calm and we're in perfect form to play the game. We're neither too excited nor too relaxed," said Mourinho.

"I don't want to ask the crowd for anything besides just to give what they believe the players deserve from them. They have to ask themselves if they believe these players are serious, hard working, humble and passionate for this club. They should give them what they think they deserve after answering that question.

"We will fully showcase our ideas tomorrow and we know what we must do. We also know what Bayern will try to do. They know they'll be eliminated in theory if they don't score because they know our potential will give us a strike of our own at least. Bayern have drive and they've earned the right to dream about reaching the final. Their collective strength is more important than any one player."
