Spanish media powerbrokers are convinced Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is laying the foundations for a return to England after signing up with a British newspaper. El Confidential says Mourinho, who has clashed regularly with the Spanish press, has signed with Rupert Murdoch's new Sunday edition of The Sun to write a regular column.

The move has upset some in Spain, with Mourinho reluctant to even do pre- and post-match media conferences.

It's no secret that Mourinho wants to return to the Premier League, where Tottenham and former club Chelsea are looming as likely destinations.
