Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has described Barcelona rival Pep Guardiola as a "smart guy".

After defeat to Bayern Munich last night, Mourinho was asked his opinion of the Barcelona coach.

"He's a smart guy and knows how to win games in the league as much as the Champions League. He knows exactly how to do it," said Mourinho.
