Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho refused to drop any hints about playing Iker Casillas today against Real Sociedad. Before Christmas, Mourinho dropped Iker Casillas for Antonio Adan for their defeat to Malaga.
Mourinho said: "All of the positions are about confidence as this is essential for all players. Confidence is important and so is competition, which isn't any less important. In that space between players achieve their top playing form. Being permanently in the comfort zone isn't good for any player.
"We're going to try to strike that balance. My goalkeepers and my players are always the best. I started out coaching a small team, União Leiria, and people laughed when I said that my players were the best in the world. I'm not going to change now."
