Inter Milan fullback Douglas Maicon is a priority target for Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho.

Maicon's agent, Antonio Caliendo, has confirmed Real's interest and AS says Mourinho has made the Brazilian his No1 summer transfer target.

"We have four terrific central defenders," said Mourinho, "Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Raul Albiol and Ezequiel Garay.

"But we have only two fullbacks and need four."

Despite Caliendo warning that Manchester City and Chelsea were also keen on Maicon, Mourinho has told Real president Florentino Perez to do all he can to bring the Brazilian to Madrid.
