Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho was reluctant to comment on Malaga's UEFA ban before yesterday's shock defeat.

Malaga have been banned from European competition next season over poor finances.

"I am not in a position to analyse the decision but I hope that Malaga can find the solutions to be able to play in the competition this season because they have earned the right to play on the field and it would be sad for it not to happen for non-sporting reasons," said Mourinho.
