Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is set to attend Manchester United's blockbuster this weekend with Liverpool.

Sir Alex Ferguson's United meet Real in the Champions League last 16 with the first leg being played at the Bernabeu on February 13 and the second at Old Trafford on March 5.

"I have already told Sir Alex Ferguson I am coming," Mourinho told The Sun. "Manchester United against Liverpool - it is a great game.

"And I always want to see my opponents play live, I like to go there and see for myself.

"Hopefully before we play United, I will have time to see them three or four times. I'm sure Sir Alex will do the same. He will come to watch us too."
