Real Madrid are putting together a £33 million bid for Tottenham flyer Gareth Bale.

Marca says Real manager Jose Mourinho will not rest until his top transfer target has been secured.

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas dismissed Real's chances of landing Bale last week and insisted it was 'completely impossible' that the lightning-quick midfielder would be allowed to leave in the January window.

That will not deter Mourinho, who will wait until the end of the season, if need be, to add Bale's pace and finishing to Real's attack.
