Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says Cristiano Ronaldo deserves this year's Ballon d'Or.

There is talk of Ronaldo snubbing the ceremony as he's convinced he'll be overlooked again.

"In this period, which has been fairly long, he has been the best. The award should go to the player who is doing better than all the others on the field. He is able to decide what is best for himself: whether or not to go to FIFA's ceremonies," said Ancelotti.
