Real Madrid coach Ancelotti not seeking Mourinho battle

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti insists he's not looking to get into a battle with predecessor Jose Mourinho.

Ancelotti succeeded Mourinho, now of Chelsea, as Real coach yesterday.

"Mourinho is a great manager who I respect. As a person, his personality is different from mine and mine from his. He has all my respect. I don't think it's right to compare me with him. Mourinho did a good job here and I'm going to try to do a good job after him. No comparison is possible," said Ancelotti.

"It's up to the president to judge my work. I don't want to know what's happened. It's a new beginning for the players and myself. It's the beginning of a new relationship and I think that it's going to be good and without problems."
