Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti insists president Florentino Perez has never interfered in team selection.
The Italian says neither Perez nor AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi ever demanded he select certain players.
But Ancelotti said: "Nobody has ever asked me to pick one player or another. We have often talked about the decision I have taken, especially with Berlusconi, because I think that a coach has to explain things to the president. But nobody has ever asked me to."
