New Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti yesterday named Zinedine Zidane as his No2. Ancelotti was unveiled as new Real coach yesterday after gaining a release from his contract at PSG.

Ancelotti said: "He'll be on the bench. The problem is that he can't play... (laughing). Zizou has been a fantastic player and he has now decided to assume the role of manager. I'm very happy to work alongside him. He will be a great assistant, apart from Paul Clement, who is my usual assistant, and Giovanni Mauri, who will be the fitness trainer."
