Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has made Manchester City star David Silva his No1 summer transfer target. Despite claims from the player and his agent that he's settled at City, Perez is encouraged that no movement has been made on new contract talks, with Silva's current deal expiring in 2014.
AS says Perez and Real coach Jose Mourinho are agreed that Silva would add something extra to the Liga title winners and an initial offer of €35-40 million is being prepared.
Perez is now pushing City - through intermediaries - to set a price for Silva.
And Barcelona media sources say he won't blink should City insist on €70 million for the midfield schemer.
