Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic has urged Roberto Soldado not to drop his head after being frozen out of the first team so far this season.

Mijatovic said: "We have 25 players and it is not easy for the coach to choose 18. But he (Soldado) also will have his chance. Last season he did very well at Osasuna and we thought that he could be very useful for us.

"Most important is that he always stays positive because he must be prepared and ready for when the call comes."
