Real Madrid chief Portugal driving Garay bid

Real Madrid are moving for Racing Santander defender Ezequiel Garay.

After losing out to Bayern Munich in the battle for Brazilian youngster Breno, Real are now focusing their attentions on young Argentine Garay.

Real chief Miguel Angel Portugal is spearheading their push for the defender, who will cost £8 million should they decide to sign him this month.
