Real Madrid sports chief Miguel Pardeza insists Marcelo still has a future with the club.
Marcelo was torn apart by Sevilla winger Jesus Navas last week, but Pardeza says: "Marcelo is okay.
"You cannot make a definitive judgement after one game."
