Real Madrid chief Pardeza confident Carvalho will stay

Real Madrid chief Miguel Pardeza expects defender Ricardo Carvalho to stay.

The former Chelsea defender's injury problems have cast a shadow over his future in Madrid.

But Pardeza says: "To my knowledge, he has renewed (his contract)."
