Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic insists he has a good relationship with coach Bernd Schuster.

After handing Schuster a vote of confidence, Mijatovic said: "We have very good relationship, we often speak. Last summer, Schuster made a statement indicating that our relationship was not smooth but that's not true.

"He told me that was not the message he wanted to send, it was quite the opposite. My relationship with the coach is very good."
