Mijatovic was spotted in the Italian capital amid confirmation from the agents of Roma defender Cristian Chivu that Real have made contact about a deal for the Romania international.

The Real chief is understood to have meeting with Roma counterpart Daniele Prade to discuss terms over a fee for Chivu. The Serie A club have expressed interest in Real fullback Cicinho, who could become a makeweight in the deal.
