Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno says Nuri Sahin is on track for a first team debut next week.

The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder joined full-scale training at Real for the first time after overcoming long-standing knee problems.

"We are all looking forward to him entering the team and providing us with his quality," said Butragueno.

"When the time comes (for him to play) a decision will be taken, but he will first have to prove himself in training."
