Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno was delighted with their thumping victory over Rayo Vallecano. Butragueno says the 6-2 win will lift everyone's confidence at the club.

He remarked: This shower of goals boosts our morale. It's a very positive result for all of us. I loved Benzema's goal because of the overall effort it finished off, and I also loved Kaka's counterattack that ended in a penalty. He played magnificently well.
