Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno has paid tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo played his 100th game for the club yesterday.

He declared: "Cristiano Ronaldo is an impressive professional. His behaviour on the pitch is impeccable.

"I don't recall him having a single unsportsman trait, neither with opponents nor with referees. He also receives pretty harsh treatment in stadiums. I would like people to realise just how impeccable his behaviour is."
