Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno insists their Copa tie isn't over after last night's home defeat to Barcelona.

Barca came from behind to win the first-leg 2-1 in Madrid.

"I'm a little sad because we scored the opener but were unable to set our own pace to the game and use our weapons, which are many," Butragueno in the mixed zone.

"We are Real Madrid, a strong team accustomed to overcoming difficulties. We must now fight and look for the key that allows us to defeat Barcelona. I'm sure we'll find a formula. We came closer at the end of last season and we were also superior in the Spanish Super Cup.

"This is a Copa del Rey tie and we're still in January. The most important games of the season have yet to be played."
