Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno was reluctant to discuss their bid for Tottenham star Gareth Bale yesterday.

Butragueno was asked about their pursuit of Bale on Canal+.

"I will talk about our players and the game (against Real Betis) and how it went. This is what is important to us," said the Real director.

On the dropping of Iker Casillas, he added: "On the technical decisions, I have never talked about it, nor am I going to do so now."
