Real Madrid chief Butragueno asked Sevilla about Emery

Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno has made enquiries after Sevilla coach Unai Emery.

Real are in search for a new coach after the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti this week.

Rafa Benitez is favourite for the job, after it was announced yesterday he would be leaving Napoli.

Amid the interest from the Spanish capital club, Sevilla were blunt: "We don't want him to leave".

In addition, reports AS, they warned Butragueño that if Emery decides to leave, €1.5m must be paid for his freedom (his contract was renewed automatically after Sevilla qualified for Europe).
