Real Madrid have joined the battle for Liverpool fullback Alberto Moreno.

Off contract in June, both club and player have accepted they'll part ways at the end of the season.

Moreno is interesting Arsenal boss Unai Emery, but a return to Spain is also being mooted.

Estadio Deportivo says Real are in contact with Moreno's minders about a move to Madrid.

Real football chiefs see Moreno as a long-term replacement for Marcelo, having lost confidence in Theo Hernandez, now on-loan at Real Sociedad.
