The pressure on Real Madrid Castilla coach Alberto Toril has eased after victory over Alaves.
Real still remain in the Segunda Division relegation zone, however.
"We needed a win and to win like this. We had a good first half and in the second, when we had to defend, we also did that well. We played a solid game overall," said Toril.
The coach gave a debut to Colombian whizkid Juanjo Narváez.
"This is a kid who already showed us some things in the academy, he can score and he moved well while he was on the pitch. He's a player that can help us in the future."
