Real Madrid Castilla striker Eero Markkanen is full of praise for young teammate Martin Odegaard.

Odegaard joined Real in January from Molde and Markkanen is in no doubt about the Norwegian's quality.

"It is hard to believe that he is only sixteen years old. He has come out onto the field and shown he's a very good football player," said the Finn to fotbollskanalen.se.

"He is very special and he shows this every day.

"I have myself seen him play up close, so I know how good he is."
