Real Madrid Castilla coach Zidane: Replacing Benitez...?

Real Madrid Castilla coach Zinedine Zidane insists he doesn't expect to replace senior boss Rafa Benitez.

Benitez is under pressure after Real's home humiliation by Barcelona.

"Substitute Benítez? I'm the Castilla coach and Benítez is the first-team coach. Things are in their proper place the way they are at the moment," commented Zizou after Castilla drew 0-0 with Barakaldo.

“For now I'm with Castilla and if I stayed at the club it was to manage Castilla.

"Last year at the end of the season I got the sensation that I still have some way to go before I make that step up to the first team."

He added: “I still have a long way to go yet, no manager is ever prepared for Real Madrid's first team. I'm taking it one step at a time and I'm in no rush... The important thing is to be happy in your day-to-day with what you do; my present is here with Castilla."
