Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos was delighted with his brace in victory over Malaga.

Real have now opened up a four-point lead over Sevilla.

Ramos said: "I'm happy to be able to contribute with goals, particularly in games in which we become a little bit unstuck. We came into this one on the back of some tough results. At Madrid, as soon as you lose one game the rumours start to surface. You've got to be able to dig in and it's a long old road.

"We've made a very good start to the season and we've got to remain united during the tough times, which in our case is whenever we lose a game. The Madrid fans are very demanding. Today's win gives us a boost and what we've now got to do is put together another good winning run."
