Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos blasts teammates after Copa performance

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos turned on teammates after their poor Copa del Rey draw with Numancia.

Real drew the second-leg of their tie 2-2 with the Segunda Liga outfit to continue their dismal run of form.

Diario Gol says Ramos exploded in the locker room afterwards, slamming the attitude of teammates and the effort they put in.

The defender did not point the finger at individuals, but made it clear such performances were unacceptable at the European champions.

Ramos called for greater effort from the squad insisting there is still much to play for this season.

Adding to the frustration of senior identities at the club is the Numancia result came just 48 hours after coach Zinedine Zidane held the longest (53 minutes) crisis meeting with his squad since taking charge.
