Real Madrid captain Raul delivered a blunt assessment of their title chances yesterday.

Discussing their bid to overhaul Liga leaders Barcelona, Raul said: "Morale is fine, though the distance between ourselves and Barcelona is significant.

"We need to commit fewer errors, go game by game adding points in threes. But if Barcelona continues at this level, we will end up with nothing.

"We're not going to lower our arms."
